Dogwoods are vigorous shrubs that thrive on pretty much any soil, including very wet, waterlogged places.
These dogwood can all be used as hedge plants if you like, but we really recommend the ornamental varieties for regular hard pruning (every other year in March is a good regime). By cutting these plants down to short stumps every year, you will encourage them to produce lots of colourful new stems.

Just to say how delighted I am with the service received from your firm. I only ordered the trees and shrubs a few days ago and they arrived today- excellent quality and really fresh. Well- packaged too with no damage when unwrapped. I shall certainly recommend Ashridge trees!
