Malus domestica Falstaff - Eating Apples

Browse all our apple trees here or read our guide to buying the right apple tree.

Falstaff is a modern apple, developed in Kent from a cross first made in the 1960's. It is a very attractive apple, of a good size and with a red flush on a golden background. In terms of flavour it has inherited all the quality of one of its parents, James Grieve - and is also therefore a good juicer. The tree is a heavy cropper and although it benefits from a pollinator, it is partly self-fertile.
