Fuchsia magellanica Riccartonii
Fuchsia Ricartonii grows fast clips well and is covered in flowers from June until the first frosts. It used to be restricted to coastal locations and the South West, but as the climate has warmed, so it has spread north and east and it grows happily across the UK including all but the coldest parts of Scotland.
Just in case you get an abominable winter - 1947, 1961 etc, it pays to plant fuchsia very deepso the crown of the plant is 10cms below finished soil level. It will then regrow in the even the top of the plant is cut down by a very severe freeze.
