Merton Glory Cherry Trees

Merton Glory Cherry

Merton Glory cherry trees fruit at the beginning of July, earlier than most cherries.  This is a "white" cherry - its skin being predominantly a golden yelow with red highlights. The fruit is large and somewhat heart-shaped. It is tasty but can bruise when fully ripe.  Merton Glory cherry trees are more compact and "tidier" than many and so are ideal for restricted spaces although they do need a pollinator (we recommend Early Rivers or Stella or if you want a cooking cherry as well, then use Morello).
