Pricing: We can give you low prices because our nursery only sells by mail order and is closed to the public. Each tree has discounts on larger orders starting at 3 or more trees and our lowest wholesale price begins at only 10+ plants - please take a look at each tree for more details.

Rootstocks: Pear trees are propagated by grafting a cutting from an adult tree onto a rootstock from another tree. The type of rootstock selected will control the tree's rate of growth and final size. Unless stated otherwise, Ashridge Trees use Quince A rootstocks because they give you the widest range of options for training your tree - into a fan or espalier, for example - and untrained trees will not exceed 5 metres in height. So, whether you have a small garden or a large orchard, you can grow a pear tree that suits your space.

Delivery information: The planting and delivery season for pear trees is November through to February. You can place your order at any time if you wish to receive your plants at the beginning of the season. We will not charge you until your plants are ready to be shipped. During the season, you will receive an e-mail to notify you of the delivery date, your plants will come with full planting instructions and we use a 24 hour courier service to deliver your pear trees in top condition.
