Prunus cerasifera - Cherry Plum / Myrobalan Plum Trees

The Cherry Plum - Prunus cerasifera is a small to medium sized deciduous tree that produces pink/white flowers in February-April, and delicious red cherry-sized plums in July. Similar in many ways to Blackthorn, prunus cerasifera makes a excellent alternative on chalky soils. An outstanding hedge plant in hedges 1.5 to 4 metres tall. If left untrimmed the plum cherry can grow to 10m.
