Soft Fruit Plants
We grow Blackberries, Blueberries,
Gooseberries, Raspberry canes, Blackcurrants, Redcurrants & Whitecurrants, Strawberries & Hybrid Berry bushes.
With the exception of the Blackberry,
Blueberry and Hybridberries, these are
all bare root plants. Bare root stock is cheaper
than its container grown equivalent, but is only planted in the winter. Being
grown in open ground, it has a head start on a nice root structure, which means that it tends to establish
more rapidly.
Berry bushes are mostly super easy to grow: fertile soil and sun helps a lot and most of them need some regular, simple pruning to stay at their peak of production. We've supplied beginner's advice for each plant category: there are plenty of tips and tricks out there, so it is always good to read up on them. Our newsletter will keep you reminded of each month's jobs.
Please note that out stacks
of pottted soft fruit bushes are always a bit limited so order
early to avoid disappointment.
