Tulameen - Mid Season Raspberry Bush

Tulameen raspberries are bright, glossy fruit that are resistant to wet weather. Their quality, flavour and heavy cropping make Tulameen raspberry plants the best of the late cropping summer raspberries. It starts producing fruit in mid-July and should continue into August.

Raspberries - which we send out as bare-rooted canes are generally categorised as early, mid-season, late - like Tulameen - or autumn fruiting depending on when their yield peaks. Raspberries tend to have a first, heavy flush of fruit about half the season's total in the first few weeks of fruiting. Thereafter the raspberries crop much more slowly. To get a steady crop through the raspberry season, which can run from June to October it is advisable to plant some raspberries from each group. Tulameen raspberry canes should be planted with about 60cms between plants and 2.5 metres between rows.

Please remember to plant raspberries with their roots just under the surface. Deep planting kills them.
