This is mainly a Hedging blog. It was started to contain things that do not really have a place on our website – we sell hedging and fruit trees and ornamentals. This is not commercial in any meaningful sense, mainly the posts are things to do with hedging and trees. Observations, recipes, trivia, the odd obvious plug. Hopefully it will become a place of reference for stuff that is either off the wall, not easily categorised or just plain useful.
I have made your recipe for Elderflower Cordial and it has been extremely popular, and the only one I have found which suggested using a Camden tablet. I would like to make Blackberry Cordial as I have a surfeit of them – do you know if that would keep indefinitely or would you recommend a Camden tablet for that also? I see your Elderberry Syrup will – I shall make that later when the berries are ready.
