These are very challenging times for all of us and we wanted to assure you that we are managing orders as best we can at Ashridge Nurseries, under the government guidelines.
We know that your garden is your sanctuary and we will deliver your plants as soon as we possibly can, but please bear with us if it takes a little longer than normal.
Due to the unprecedented demand in the past few weeks, since we have learned of the guidelines on isolation, you have bought plenty of plants to keep you busy in your gardens. We have sold out of hedging, fruit trees, garden trees, soft fruit and roses.
However, there is some good news as we have a new range of flowers/herbaceous plants such as Achillea, Anemones, Pinks, Foxgloves, Geraniums, Hostas, Lupins, Violas and Alchemilla and Ajuga black scallop.
I have been enjoying this spring weather and my two sons and I have been planting beech hedging. However as it has been dry for the past 2 weeks, we have been watering them every few days. It's really a good rule to make sure you water your newly planted plants every day or so.
We even had beech hedging for our replacement Grand National on Saturday, with our dog jumping the fences, see the 13 second video:
The daffodils have been spectacular this year:
As are the tulips:
My wife has been dead-heading the daffodils and admiring some stunning yellow tulips, with beech hedging and daffodils in the background:
Have a very happy Easter and enjoy your gardens.
