<\/h3>\n<p>The safest trees around potentially vulnerable concrete have more <strong>fibrous root systems<\/strong>, and either naturally aren\u2019t very big, or will be pruned to restrict their size (which is the case with a hedge). <\/p>\n<p>So the perfect choices for planting close to vulnerable concrete are going to be <strong>naturally small conifers<\/strong> such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ashridgetrees.co.uk\/products\/korean-fir-sapling-trees-abies-koreana\">Korean Fir<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ashridgetrees.co.uk\/products\/western-red-cedar-hedge-plants-thuja-plicata\">Thuja plicata<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ashridgetrees.co.uk\/products\/norway-spruce-hedge-plants-picea-abies\">Norway Spruce<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ashridgetrees.co.uk\/products\/lawsons-cypress-hedge-plants-chamaecyparis-lawsoniana\">Lawson\u2019s Cypress<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And possibly <a
