Most climbing plants<\/a> can damage, block, or push guttering<\/strong>, drainpipes<\/strong> and other external fittings <\/strong>off the wall. Unless their weight gets too much for their supports, these plants are safe for any wall<\/p> Wisteria is a partial exception: with age, it gets very heavy, with strong vines that can crush things they twine around. Keep it off drainpipes!<\/p> Zoom in on the wisteria \u201ctree trunk\u201d between the white garage doors. It\u2019s swallowed whatever use to hold it up.
