Description

Korresia Floribunda Rose Bushes

Korresia is possibly the best of the yellow Floribundas, a must-have in a yellow themed garden. Its generous clusters of big double blooms, high-centered and wavy-ruffled in shape, have a great scent and are weather resistant. With attentive deadheading and a sunny location, it will repeat with hardly a pause from June to September. A compact, upright, all-round smashing rose with superb disease resistance, well deserving its Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit. To 80cm / 2.5ft

Did You Know?

Bred by Reimer Kordes (1922-1997), the heir of Wilhelm Kordes II, at Germany's W. Kordes & Sons (now called Kordes Rosen) in 1973. The parents are Friedrich Wörlein (another Kordes rose) and Spanish Sun. To this day, it is the only floribunda to bag the Gamble Award for Fragrance, and it holds four other rose competition awards, including the Royal National Rose Society Gold Medal in 1989. In other countries, it is sold as either Sunsprite or Friesia.
