I received the Cider Apple trees and the Discovery pollinator this morning in the rain. That has kept them nice and moist as I unwrapped the huge parcel. For maidens, I'd expected trees either 5ft or a bit shorter, similar to ones received from other suppliers in the past. Yours were over 6ft and all in blossom. All in exemplary condition and well-branched. I shall need to put them in deeper pots for the time being, having been doused in rootgrow gell and shakings of the dry rootgrow to give them head start before planting them properly, where they are intended to grow on. I cannot thank you enough as these five trees will last a lifetime. Ashridge trees come highly recommended by me. I now look forward to making my own cider in the years to come.Myra

Hi all at Ashridge, I just had to write and say thank you for the best Christmas tree I have ever had!! It has and is still stunning! It hasn’t dropped any needles despite being in a warm room. I have given it water regularly but I still can’t believe how amazing a tree it is! Just wanted to say that I received my order of Honeysuckle Darts World and Clematis Jackmanii this morning and that I’m absolutely delighted with not only the quality of the plants but your customer service as well. The honeysuckle has a little grey mould on some of the leaves , probably to do with being in a cardboard box in this beautiful weather, but the packaging was superb and protected the specimens extremely well. When I first placed my order on 26th March I was a bit disappointed that the delivery date was 4 weeks, but you have delivered sooner and taking into account the difficulties raised during the lockdown I think your service is very good. Thank you so much, Catherine & Co.! The tree arrived this afternoon along with the rhubarb. It was so well-packed that it took me almost an hour to unravel all the tape, bubblewrap and such. The tree looks great. It has had some compost put around its roots in a breathable bag for this evening and the rhubarb root planted in a pot; I won't plant that out until Spring is around the corner. I just wanted to let you know my plants have arrived today as promised. I have unpacked them and they are wonderful, I am so pleased with them. They are much bigger than I expected and in tip-top condition. Thank you so much. I also think they are really excellent value for money – I buy most of my plants on-line (living in Cornwall the choices are a bit limited) and I had looked for Hydrangea seemannii at my usual on-line supplier but they were so expensive I was a bit put off. Ten pounds per plant more (!) Then I searched around and found you – your plants were considerably cheaper and larger so I was a bit worried they might fall short of the mark. But… absolutely no worries on that front. In fact I bought two seemannii from the other supplier earlier this year (I think they are a very ‘useful’ plant, particularly for someone who lives in a walled garden) so can do a direct comparison. Interestingly, they are smaller than yours now even though they have been in the ground and well cared for, for more than six summer months. Just to let you know my order of 2 x thornless blackberries and a rose arrived on Saturday,looking really good.Planted on Sunday. The reason for the blackberry plants is that we have stick Insects in our garden, They love roses,and my roses have been munched this summer.They also like brambles hence the thornless blackberry plants!!JC

all the hedge plants arrived safely and the great packaging meant that their roots were still damp. They're all in and we're watering regularly - looking forward to seeing first leaves.
