Conker Trees - Bareroot Sapling Plants

The Horse Chestnut, Aesculus hippocastanum, is a spectacular flowering tree. Ultimately it forms a very large, rounded, spreading tree that is covered in "candles" of white flowers in late spring, followed by shiny brown conkers.
You can buy horse chestnut trees in large standard sizes here.

Aesculus hippocastanum grows eventually to 30m on any soil and young trees tolerate shade well.
It isn't suitable for clipped hedges, but these trees have a rounded canopy that makes good tall screening.
