Hardy English Lavender Plants

Why buy English Lavender Plants?

English lavender is the hardiest of all lavender plants and copes much better with our soggy winters than French lavender or the fancier stoechas varieties (which really ought to be kept under cover in the winter).

When is the best time to plant lavender?

From the end of May into June is optimal. Newly planted lavender hates cold wet ground and in lavender terms April showers just make the soil cold and wet.  So let the ground really warm up before planting.
