Rosa Stanwell Perpetual - Shrub Roses

Description of Stanwell Perpetual Roses:
This rugged old rose has thorny stems and a pretty much continuous flowering period from summer to autumn. The plump, pale pink, swirling flowers have a lovely, though not very strong, scent.
Stanwell Perpetual loves to be pruned quite hard as it ages and so it does very well as a hedge plant. Your plants are very hardy and will tolerate just about any conditions, but anything more than light shade will affect the number of flowers you get.
The leaves are a bit odd: some of the older ones will look a bit manky and you might think that they are diseased. They aren't - this is a very disease resistant rose - and there's nothing you need to do about it.
