Soft Fruit Plants
We grow and supply Blackberries, Blueberries, Boysenberries,
Gooseberries, Raspberries, Blackcurrants, Redcurrants, Strawberries,
Tayberries and Whitecurrants. With the exception of Blackberry,
Blueberry and Hybridberries (Boysenberries & Tayberry) these are
all bare root plants. Bare root stock is preferable to (and cheaper
than) its container grown equivalent when planted in the winter
as it is grown in open ground and so is generally larger, healthier
and has better root structure. These qualities lead it to establish
more rapidly and to fruit more freely.
We offer a choice of varieties with almost all our soft fruit
plants to cater for individual tastes. Where we do not, it is
because the soft fruit variety in question is (in our opinion)
markedly superior to anything else. Please note that out stacks
of pottted soft fruit bushes are always a bit limited so order
early to avoid disappointment. |
