Duke Blueberry Plants

Duke crops slightly later than Earliblue and before Chandler. It's a vigorous plant with big crops of medium-sized, firm fruit that store well for a blueberry. The flavour isn't quite as strong as our other varieties, so we recommend mixing Duke in with fruit salads, bowls of cereal or blueberry pies, jams and other preparations with a mix of flavours, rather than just eating them fresh.

Growing Blueberries:

Remember that all blueberries need moist, free-draining acidic soil to fruit. They're members of the heather family and so need ericaceous soil conditions. Take a look at our Guide to Growing Blueberry Plants. Blueberries do very well in pots, tubs and other containers.
