Description
Malus Sweet Coppin
Sweet Coppin cider apple trees are one of the few vintage apples with a sweet flavour. Their juice is classed as pure sweet, although they can sometime swing towards the mild bittersweet end of the scale.
Sweet Coppin apples are of average size and will drop from the tree when ripe, so a net will come in handy. This tree is a heavy cropper with some biennial tendency. It does not like sulphur based pesticides etc.
The fruit will be ready to pick at the end of October / Early November and should be pressed for juice very quickly.
