Many people choose evergreen hedging because it acts as a barrier to sight, noise and wind all year and it is popular with nesting birds. You also do not have to sweep up so much in autumn! Because they are active all year, evergreen hedges are generally very hardy and most of them are perfect for exposed and windy sites or frost pockets. There are enough evergreen hedge plants here for you to select one that both suits your tastes and which will thrive in your soil. From Arbutus and Box through Holly and Privet all the way to Yew (we do not have Z), there is sure to be something here for everyone. Many of these plants will only need trimming once a year and variegated varieties of common plants such as Holly are great for livening up the front of a house. The planting and delivery season for bare rooted evergreen hedging plants is November through to March with optimal planting from December to March.

Pot grown evergreen hedge plants can be planted at any time, although between late May and October is probably best.

We will not charge you until your plants are ready to be shipped.
