Clematis - Daniel Deronda
About 'Daniel Deronda' Clematis:'Daniel Deronda' Clematis is a beautiful variety with beautiful big deep violet-purple flowers with pale blue midribs. The plant produces semi double flowers early in the summer, turning to single flowers later in the season.
They have wonderfully decorative central anthers that seem to explode like little stars in soft plum and pale yellow tones. As the flowers fade in late summer these turn into lovely seed heads which last well into the autumn.
