About This Product

Vitax Growmore Fertiliser

Growmore is your standard issue, balanced general fertiliser.

It is suitable for most garden jobs, except for late season, pre-winter use, when a fertiliser without Nitrogen is best.

Do not mix growmore, or any fertiliser, with Rootgrow at planting time: use Rootgrow only.

It contains equal parts (7-7-7) of the 3 essential nutrients:

  • Nitrogen (N): For new shoots & leaves.
  • Potash / Potassium (K): For flowers & fruit.
  • Phosphate (P): For roots & mature, woody growth.

You can mix it into soil before or during planting (before is best).

It is also commonly used as a top dressing in the spring to get plants off to good start. Just rake it into the first inch of soil and water it in.
