Description

Rosa Fantin Latour - Shrub Roses

Description of Fantin Latour Roses:
Fantin Latour is a soft pink rose with fully double, tightly packed petals that tend to bunch up in the centre and fade a bit on the outer rim of the flowers. The scent is excellent. Being a medium sized rose that only flowers once during the summer, it isn't demanding and will do well in shady spots with poor soil. It is even happy to be planted under big trees that hog lots of light and soil nutrients. It is also very hardy and will do well in Scotland.
Fantin Latour is normally kept as a shrub, but given time it can serve as climber and reach about 2.5 metres.
Prune your plants after they flower to encourage more blooms for next year.
