Nursery Manager · At Ashridge since 2025

“Stand in some compost, you might grow taller.” The best gardening advice I’ve ever been given.

I’m Nursery Manager here at Ashridge Trees, and I joined in November 2025.

What’s the first plant you remember growing? A cooking apple tree. It was really rewarding when it came out in luscious fruit, which then went into an apple crumble.

What’s the one job you always put off? Repotting and feeding my plants. It’s time-consuming, but the plants do thank me for it afterwards.

What do you do away from work? I’m out adventuring with my harness-trained kitten.
