I look after the Ashridge website, our emails and a lot of the photography on the site. I have a Diploma in Design covering graphic design, web and photography. My garden is where I try out plenty of what we sell, and it’s often where the camera comes out too.

How did you end up at Ashridge? I used to run my own marketing and web design business. After I had my son I sold it, and I wanted a job connected to something I love: being outdoors and gardening. I started here as an assistant in July 2019.

Which plant would you recommend to anyone? Lavender. It’s easy to plant and easy to look after.

Is there a plant you just don’t get? Sweet peas. They smell amazing and my mum loves them, but they’re just not my cup of tea.

What’s the one job you always put off? Weeding. Surely that’s everyone’s.

If you could visit any garden in the world, which would it be? Willy Wonka’s.

What do you do away from work? You’ll find me mowing, or playing football, either with my son or with my ladies’ team.
