We take great care in delivering healthy trees to your doorstep. Each order is hand-picked, carefully packaged, and shipped using trusted couriers to ensure safe arrival.
All trees are shipped in eco-friendly recyclable packaging. Roots are securely wrapped to retain moisture during transit, keeping your tree healthy and ready for planting.
We currently deliver across the UK mainland. Unfortunately, we cannot deliver to Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, or the Channel Islands due to plant health regulations.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking link by email so you can follow your tree’s journey from our nursery to your garden.
If you require delivery on a specific date (e.g., birthday gift, landscaping project), please add a note at checkout and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
How are they measured?
Hedge plants & sapling trees are measured by their height in centimetres above soil level. Roots or pots aren't measured.
Pot sizes are measured by their volume in litres, except for the smallest size, 9cm / p9 pots, which are roughly half a litre.
Troughs are 1m long with plants around 1.5m above the trough.
What to expect
Bareroot hedging has no soil around the roots, and is only delivered dormant in the Winter Planting Season, November-March.
Pot grown plants are available the rest of the year, Spring and Autumn are also great for planting.
Troughs are dense 1m long "instant hedges" of 5-6 plants, better value than the same number of potted plants.

Sapling Trees

Douglas Fir trees, Pseudotsuga menziesii, are large and vigorous evergreen conifers. Mature trees in the open have a lush, attractive canopy.
For such a big tree, the Douglas Fir has a fairly compact canopy, with downward pointing lower branches that do a great job of blocking out sight from about 5 metres off the ground when they're mature. Older trees have very thick, corky bark with lovely sinuous ridges.
They're not suitable for a clipped hedge, and can be grown as a tall windbreak and screening tree up to about 55+ metres high.
Delivery season: Firs are delivered bareroot during late autumn and winter, approximately November-March inclusive.
They're great for poor soil, as long as the site isn't too dry: British rainfall should be enough for them. As with any tree that grows in dry conditions, it still needs watering to establish.
