Remembrance is a little floribunda rose that grows strongly and carries well shaped bright scarlet flowers with a gentle scent right through the flowering season from late June to early October. Like all floribundas, it prefers a sunny spot, but an added advantage of the Remembrance Rose is that it is more tolerant of poor soil than most other bush roses. If you are planting it in less fertile soil, you can help it along by underplanting with spring flowering bulbs and then mulching those annually with well-rotted garden compost. Over 2-3 years that will significantly improve the ground and both your bulbs and roses will flower better. To 2ft.
