Swan Lake is an upright, tidy plant with beautifully full, large, lightly scented, shapely white flowers with pale pink centres that are carried throughout the summer. Bred in Portadown, Northern Ireland by Samuel McGredy IV (1931-2019) in 1961 from Memoriam and Heidelberg, before the nursery moved to New Zealand. Its German name is Schwanensee.
