Birch Trees

Birch trees (Betula) are among the most elegant trees to grow in the UK. As a family they are fast growing, they tend to have silver (Betula pendula), white (betula papyrifera) or sometimes pinkish bark (Betula utilis jacquemontii) and they cast light shade making birch trees among the best choices to grow in areas where you may want to garden under trees. Their speed of growth also makes them an essential component of any woodland planting scheme where they create height and shelter for other slower growing trees in their early years. All in all a key component in our range of ornamental trees for sale
