About Trees for Ornamental Interest

Most trees have their moment — the cherry going full confetti in April, an acer doing its best Turner impression come October. The finest ornamental trees are generous enough to put on a show right round the calendar. We look for the ones that earn their keep through January's bare architecture, March's hopeful bud-burst, the full glorious canopy of high summer, and that splendid autumn finale of colour and fruit.

Our ornamental range takes in flowering cherries and crab apples, Japanese acers, rowans and multi-stemmed birches — a proper palette of size, form and season. Many carry the RHS Award of Garden Merit, which is about as reliable a thumbs-up as you'll get for UK growing conditions. Whether you're after a single showstopping specimen or a row of pleached hornbeam to frame a view, you'll find the right tree — and the right form — right here.
