Growing Arenaria montana

It tolerates a bit of shade but really flowers best in full sun. It dislikes chalk, but otherwise will thrive in any well drained soil, preferably low in fertility, which tends to make it flower harder.

Did You Know?

Native to the Pyrenees and mountainous areas across Spain, Portugal and Morocco. Arena is the Latin word for sand, referring to its preferred soil type.
