Description
Leo Alba Strawberry Bushes - Wild Alpine Strawberry.
Description of Leo Alba Plants & Fruit:
This wild, woodland strawberry variety produces small fruit and overall yield is also modest. However, they are a special little strawberry with an unusual flavour: sweet but mild, with a hint of pineapple and vanilla. They also do well on poor soil, but good drainage is absolutely essential. Leo Alba is an everbearer in good conditions but, unlike red strawberries, it will still grow and crop in quite shady spots.
You know the fruit are ripe when you give them a gentle squeeze and they feel soft.
