Growing Incrediball Hydrangeas
Acidic soil in sun or partial shade. Hardy, but in the North, it will bloom best in a sheltered location.
Did You Know?
In a bygone age of plant breeding, this cultivar would surely have been named 'Annabelle Improved' after its predecessor (a lovely variety that can suffer from drooping stems when the mature flowers are laden with rainwater) and indeed its working title while in production was Strong Annabelle. But plant marketing has moved on, so this ancestral connection was relegated to its plant breeders' rights code, Abetwo.
Annabelle holds an RHS Award of Garden Merit, so in our opinion it is only a matter of time until Incrediball takes it from her.
