Where's Ashridge Garden Centre?

Ashridge Garden Centre? Ashbridge Nursery? Disambiguate me!

You are on the Ashridge website, legal name Ashridge Trees Ltd, based in Somerset, widely known for years as Ashridge Nurseries to distinguish us from the other Ashridges out there.

We are an online tree, hedge & plant nursery, not a garden centre:

• Our nursery is closed to the public, except our front forecourt for collecting orders placed online.
• We specialise in all manner of hedging, trees, fruit plants, and garden shrubs, mostly delivered bareroot in Winter, with a range of pot-grown stock for year round delivery, and flower bulbs & dahlia tubers in their seasons.
• We only grow a modest range of the most popular herbaceous perennials that you would expect to see big selections of at a garden centre, and seedling plugs of annual Cosmos and Sweet Peas in Spring.
• We don't sell all the tools and garden gear you find in garden centres, only essential accessories for planting trees and hedges, like stakes, guards, and mulch fabric, and no decorations except tree tags.

Beyond our classy names and shared love of great plants, we are in no way connected with the following businesses:

• Ashridge Manor Garden Centre in Wokingham, our absolute favourite Wokingham garden centre.

• Ashridge House Estate, our number one National Trust destination in Herefordshire.
  Their lovely plant shop has a select range of potted bulbs, perennials, with various edible herbs and fruit.

Ashridge is not on Amazon

But you will find people there using our a variant of our official brand name, Ashridge Trees Ltd, such as "Ashridge Nurseries", which we don't have legal control over.

It's not us, we do not sell on Amazon (yet...)

Every year, about three people contact us to claim their guarantee on plants they bought from another Ashridge, which we would love to honour, but can't for legal reasons: our lawyer wants that money for herself.

The kids raised by Ashridge are, on average, less presentable, despite how much they cost. We should stick to selling trees and hedging online.
