Collect Your Order from Castle Cary

If you live within driving distance of Castle Cary, you can order on the website as normal, choose the collection option at checkout, and we'll email you when your order is ready to pick up. There's no delivery charge for collections.

How Collection Works

Place your order online and select the collection option at checkout. We'll email you when it's ready. Collection is always on Fridays between 10am and 3.30pm from our nursery in Castle Cary, Somerset. The postcode is BA7 7NJ.

There's no minimum order for collection, and no delivery charge. Everything on the website is available for collection — bulbs, bare-root trees and hedging, roses, perennials, the lot. Your plants will be ready when you arrive.

Are We Near You?

Castle Cary sits in south Somerset, just off the A371 between Shepton Mallet and Wincanton. We're a short drive from Bruton, Wincanton, Evercreech, Shepton Mallet, Somerton and the Charltons. Frome, Glastonbury, Street and Wells are all within about twenty minutes, and Yeovil, Warminster and Gillingham not much further. If you're anywhere in the BA, TA or DT postcode areas, collection is a really cost effective optionfor you.

What We Are (and Aren't)

We are an online nursery, not a garden centre. Everything is ordered through the website - that is just how we work. But we've been growing and selling plants from Castle Cary since 2004, and we like seeing local customers collect; it's better for the plants, better for the planet and you can plan your planting without worrying about courier deliveries.

We'll email you to confirm which Friday your order will be ready. If you need to arrange a different Friday, get in touch and we'll do our best.

Let us know and we'll hold your order for the following Friday. We'll keep your plants in good condition until then.

Do you sell gift vouchers for collection?

Yes — a gift voucher works for any order, whether delivered or collected. The recipient places their own order online and chooses collection at checkout.
