About Nur Mahal

Nur Mahal shrub rose plants are an unusual summer time flowerer with a strong, distinctive musky scent. The blooms are semi-double, medium in size and will repeat through the summer. They emerge in large sprays of dusky crimson, flecked with pink and white at the centre, each flower picked out with its conspicuous yellow stamens. Dark green, saw-edged foliage and thorny stalks complete this most presentable of roses. This rose is a true pollinator magnet and is great for bees and butterflies.

Nur Mahal is small to medium sized, reaching around 4ft in height and spread when grown as a shrub. Flowers will only emerge from new growth, so annual, autumnal pruning is necessary to maintain health and appearance. Requiring little else though, Nur Mahal is an undemanding and highly enjoyable addition to the garden.
