Browse all our apple trees here or read our guide to buying the right apple tree.
Cox's Orange Pippin is an eating apple that has it all. It has a wonderful crisp texture, tangy taste and it juices well. Cox's are also aromatic and keep well. The tree itself is strong growing and fairly upright and carries clouds snow white flowers in spring. As if all that was not enough Cox's Orange Pippins make great cider. It appears on any list of the greatest English eating apples.
Cox's is a mid-season flowering pollinator and this variety is self-fertile, although cross-pollination does tend to improve the crop. For more on apple and fruit pollination including finding suitable partners for your Cox's Orange Pippin do take a look at our Guide to Fruit Pollination. Use October-March.
Please note that our bushes, half standards and maidens are on MM106 rootstocks while our cordons are on M9 which we believe is the best rootstock for this purpose for this variety.
