About This Product

Gallery Art Deco Dahlia Tubers

The luminous double blooms of Gallery Art Deco are a breath-taking addition to any garden with their incredibly sultry sunset shades. The many-layered colour palette is created from the profusion of incurved two-tone petals with soft coral-orange upper sides blending to red on the reverse. The dramatic effect culminates in a deep red eye at the centre of each flower.

Sophisticated and stylish, this popular, award-winning dahlia is a prolific flowerer, and her blooms last well in a vase.

How to Grow Gallery Art Deco

Her compact size and striking flowers are perfect for container displays or the front of a sunny border. Plant in deep, fertile soil with good drainage.

It is important to water dahlias well during dry periods. Adding a bit of soluble food in the watering can once every couple of weeks will encourage prolific flowering throughout summer and autumn. If grown in containers, she needs to be kept especially well watered and fed. Deadhead regularly.

Planting Companions

She simply sizzles centre stage as the star of fiery red, coral and orange container displays. Try combining with annuals like Antirrhinum 'Dazzling Lips Red', Impatiens 'Tumbler Salmon' and Thunbergia 'Arizona Dark Red', or grow alongside other richly-coloured dahlias like Labyrinth or Dark Spirit in a cut flower border.
