Description

Narcissus Ellen Bulbs

Ellen daffodils are large flowered with ivory white petals and double frilled pale yellow trumpets. This is a graceful daffodil which holds its flowers well on tall stems and so it look good in container, border or longer grass. Ellen daffodils establish quickly and naturalise well and bring light and gold to the grimmest days in late February and early March year after year.

This is just one of the many varieties of spring flowering bulbs in our range, and you can browse our other narcissus and daffodil bulbs here.

  • Group 2: Large-Cupped Daffodil

Ellen are sold as premium bulbs which means you get 1 -2 strong flowering shoots per bulb in the spring following planting. For years of pleasure it pays to incorporate a bit of compost or well rotted organic matter in the  planting area. Make sure the ground is moist in the growing season (which is winter and spring for bulbs) and don't mow the grass where they are growing until the foliage has died down.
