June Allyson Daffodil – White Petals, Blushing Pink Cup

June Allyson is a large-cupped daffodil with soft white petals and a cup that opens ruddy-orange and matures to a peachy-pink — a colour combination that brings a touch of warmth to the classic daffodil form. The flowers are good-sized and carried on strong 40cm stems, making them excellent for borders and cutting gardens.

Large-cupped daffodils (Division 2) are the dependable heart of any spring planting. They flower reliably, naturalise well in most soils, and come back year after year with minimal attention beyond leaving the foliage alone after flowering.

Planting Partners

For a pink-toned spring, plant with Pink Impression tulips and pale hyacinths. For a classic gold-and-white scheme, pair with Tête-à-Tête at the front. Browse the daffodil range.

Why Ashridge?

Your bulbs are premium-size, Dutch-grown, and hand-graded before dispatch. Bigger bulbs store more energy, which means more flowers in the first season. We import directly and check every batch. Delivered in autumn, ready to plant. If anything arrives soft or damaged, call Somerset and we replace it. Which? Best Plant Supplier. Browse all our flower bulbs.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a large-cupped daffodil?

Division 2 — the cup is more than one-third but less than the full length of the petals. This is the largest division of daffodils and includes many of the most popular garden varieties. They are generally excellent perennials.

Will June Allyson come back?

Reliably. Large-cupped daffodils are among the best perennial bulbs. Plant in autumn, leave foliage for six weeks after flowering, and the clumps will increase year on year.

When should I plant June Allyson?

September to November. Daffodils benefit from early planting — get them in the ground as soon as they arrive. Our planting guide covers depth and spacing.
