RocketGro Organic Soil Improver

Made from composted maize, rye and meadow grass, this rich compost is high in fibrous elements that boost a dry soil's water holding capacity, and help to loosen up heavy clay. It is dug into the soil when improving it before planting a tree, or forked into veg beds, rather than mulched over the surface. For a potting and container compost, we recommend black gold. If you are improving soil for vegetables in particular, adding some of our fruit & veg compost will give them a boost.

  • Organic & Peat free
  • Soil Association Approved
  • No live seeds or animal products
  • Great for digging into both dry and heavy soils
  • Made in the UK by RocketGro

The parent company of RocketGro is Somerset based Cannington Enterprises.

Delivery Amounts, Please note:

We sell all bags of Rocket Gro compost or mulch in two basic increments:

  • As pairs of 50 litre bags, so 100 litres is the minimum order (you have to add 2 bags to the shopping cart, the system won't let you add only one bag).
  • Economy value pallets of 80 x 50 litre bags, 4,000 litres total. At this time, we don't have a dedicated pallet item, so simply add 80 bag items to your shopping cart, and it will apply the discount automatically.

Delivery is free for any amount, which applies to the compost only, not other products in the same order (unless they meet their own minimum order requirements for free delivery).

As with all peat free composts, regular watering and feeding with general purpose fertiliser will ensure best results.
