This essential pruning set is all you need for the most common garden pruning jobs on shrubs, roses, and smaller trees. The set includes the two essential cutting tools: a pruning saw with a fine tooth blade for larger wood, and garden pruners with comfortable grips and a carbon steel blade for neatly slicing through cutting smaller stems and twigs.
The manufacturers state that the saw is good for branches up to 4cm in diameter, but this is conservative to say the least - with 20cm of saw length to work with, you can clearly cut significantly larger limbs as long as you do so safely.
