Description
Armeria maritima 'Alba' Plants
Thrifts are darling little cuties that every garden can find room for, even most (sunny) windowsills! It resembles a simple evergreen grass for most of the year, then in mid-Spring it throws up barrages of white, spherical flower clusters.
With its zero maintenance requirements and drought tolerance, this tough, dainty plant is an excellent choice for any sunny location.

Armeria maritima 'Alba'
It needs full sun, and well drained soil, preferably low in fertility, which tends to make it flower harder.
Drought-tolerant once established, and notably disease free. When everything else is being attacked by bugs and fungus during a warm humid overcast Summer, Armeria is one of those plants growing happily amidst the carnage as though nothing is happening: not even aphids are interested!
