Blanc (or Blanche) Double de Coubert Shrub Roses

Description of Blanc Double de Coubert Roses:
A pure white shrub rose with a superb scent, Blanc or Blanche Double de Coubert also has nice dense foliage that looks good in autumn. It has its main run of flowers in early summer and with prompt deadheading, it will produce some more blooms until autumn. The petals have a scrunched appearance and the orange rose hips are large.
Being a rugosa hybrid, Blanc Double de Coubert is a very tough rose, ideal for hedges, poor sandy soils and exposed coastal sites. It is covered in sharp thorns making it a beautiful but effective deterrent. Apart from aphids, it seems to be almost immune to insects and disease.
