Growing Ambassador Courgettes

Courgettes are not difficult to grow, but they are demanding in terms of resources. They need full sun, shelter from the wind, a fertile and well drained soil that is watered consistently, and ideally decent air circulation. The ideal pH range is 6.0 - 7.5.

Water the soil without wetting the leaves to reduce the chance of disease. You will probably need to net your plants as the crops develop to keep the birds off them, and horticultural fleece will protect them from both birds and insects.

Our organic Rocket Gro mulch is excellent for both feeding your crops and retaining soil moisture. When fruit starts to form, feed your plants every 14 days with our tomato feed.
