Modern honeysuckles are redolent of a country cottage garden. They come with a wide range of flower colour from palest lemon yellow to scarlet and many flower continuously through the summer (it is not unusual to see honeysuckle in fruit and bud at the same time). With just a few exceptions, honeysuckle is heavily and sweetly scented and much loved by pollinators, especially bees.
