Summer Flame Decorative Dahlias

Summer Flame is a fairly low growing tangerine orange, decorative dahlia. The fiery flowers which are between 10 - 15 cms (4-6") in diameter are well structured and hold their petals, shape and presentation really well when cut, making Summer Flame dahlias perfect as a cut flower.

Orange is not a colour for everyone - although we recommend trying it out as it lights up any garden - so if Summer Flame sounds a bit on the bright side, why not have a look at our other dahlias for sale?

Only growing to about 60-80 cms (24-30") tall and about 30-40 cms (12-18") across ideal Summer Flame is best planted nearer the front of your border. Because of its relatively small size, it is also better suited to growing in containers although like all dahlias it is thirsty, so use a good sized pot (not less than 7.5 litres) and either grow it near a water supply or use drip irrigation for best results.
