This popular, mid-season eating apple is seriously sweet, with a complex, fruity, aromatic flavour that hints at berries and anise, and the bite is "medium crisp". It ripens in late September, stores for about 4-5 weeks, and juices well. It has great blossom that starts off pink and matures to white, with plenty of nectar to share with the bees.
