Ground Cover Plants

Groundcover plants and hedging tend to be complemetary. Either because groundcover helps contrl weeds before a hedge is fully established, or because one plants groundcover inplaces where hedges won't, can't or shouldn't be planted. Generally evergreen these are some of the most useful plants in any gardener's palette. They are unfussy, will grow almost anywhere, are generally shade tolerant and shoudl be used more.
